Recruitment and Retention

The conference will offer opportunities in professional development promoting retention of first and second year teachers and those returning to new Career and Technical career cluster areas.

Professional development strategies provided include reinforcing daily classroom management policies and procedures, promote coherent and rigorous content aligned with challenging academic standards, and support programs for special populations that lead to high skill, high wage, or high demand occupations.

Best practices, improve attainment of academic and career and technical knowledge and skills in students with Limited English Proficiency, and promote best practices to improve parental and community involvement will be included in the conference.

Who Should Attend?
First and second year teachers of Career and Technical Education career cluster areas are encouraged to attend.
